The yoga process involves suspending the distracting fluctuations of the mind to develop and sustain direct experience with the best of our selves.An agnostic perspective supports this process by addressing the polarity of belief and disbelief which can disrupt continuity of this direct experience.The mind habituates to its polarized interpretations of experience and we become subject to its self limiting or self aggrandizing beliefs.By suspending belief without direct experience and withholding disbelief from an already-knowing cynicism one can maintain continuity in focused self awareness.As a cultivated self awareness becomes the foundation for all of our self care practices we are well suited to discern what is useful from what may be harmful or frivolous.Unfortunately much of what has been commercialized as "yoga" is harmful and or frivolous.Agnostic yoga seeks to nourish the rebellious spark in discerning practitioners and empower those with a true desire to know themselves.If this resonates then I invite you to join us for a unique approach to self care.
